PROGRAM COMMITMENT & REQUIRED DATES:
As a Sharpe Fellow, it is required to actively participate in the mandatory Orientation and Networking Night. While the program partners with you to strengthen your career outcomes, each fellow is ultimately responsible for their own professional development. By applying for the Sharpe Fellows Program, you understand and acknowledge that attendance at required programming is mandatory and you are responsible for taking ownership of your career.
The 2026-2027 UCLA Sharpe Fellows will be one cohort made up four sections based on each vertical (investment banking, finance, consulting, and technology) that all meet in-person for the two required session of the program (MANDATORY; NO EXEMPTIONS):
- Orientation: Leadership and Career Development Foundations – Friday, September 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PT at the James West Alumni Center on the UCLA campus
- Networking Night – Tuesday, September 29 at a location in the Los Angeles area (more details to follow)
ELIGIBILITY:
In order to be considered for the program, you MUST meet all eligibility requirements and complete the entire application.
- Undergraduate students, enrolled full-time (12+ units) at UCLA during the 2026-27 academic year
- Expected graduation date of December 2028, March 2029 or June 2029
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS:
In-person interviews for candidates that are selected based on eligibility and résumé will be notified on the week of May 4-8. In-person interviews for selected candidates will be conducted the either on Friday, May 15 or Friday, May 22 at the UCLA Career Center for all verticals.
DECISIONS:
Final decisions will be communicated late June.
